🗳 Grace Baptist School Holds Successful Prefectorial Elections

Grace Baptist School last Friday witnessed an atmosphere of excitement, anticipation, and democratic spirit as pupils took part in the school’s annual Prefectorial Elections. The event, held on Friday, 3rd October 2025, saw students from the Primary Department casting their votes to elect new leaders for the 2025/2026 academic year.

After a keenly contested election process, Jerold Papa Adu emerged as the Boys Prefect for the Primary Department, with Kwabena Sarpong Nimako elected as his Assistant. On the girls’ side, Delyse Nyarko Acheampong was chosen as the Girls Prefect, ably supported by Perfect Ohene Gyan as her Assistant.

The elections were supervised by teachers and staff who ensured fairness and transparency throughout the process. Pupils displayed great enthusiasm and discipline as they lined up to cast their ballots, demonstrating a practical understanding of democratic values.

Speaking after the results were announced, the newly elected prefects expressed gratitude to their peers for the confidence reposed in them and promised to serve diligently and responsibly.

The Headteacher commended both candidates and voters for exhibiting maturity and teamwork, adding that such exercises help nurture leadership and civic responsibility among pupils.

With the successful conclusion of the elections, the school looks forward to an exciting year of teamwork, discipline, and student-led initiatives under the leadership of the new prefects.
